Heat that actually hits We use high-purity quartz glass because food machinery is brutal. It handles the thermal shock without cracking. These lamps use short-wave infrared, which means the heat penetrates the food fast. Depending on whether you’re searing something or just drying it out, we can coat the lamps to shift the spectrum to exactly what you need. It’s intense heat. It ramps up fast. But a quick tip: check your reflectors. If they’re pitted or oxidized, it doesn’t matter whose lamp you’re using—your efficiency is going to tank. Keeping it simple The best part? You can swap these out without touching your electrical panels. We’ve spec’d the filaments to pull the same current as the OEM parts, so it’s a plug-and-play situation. Just do me a favor: check your cooling fans. Clear out the dust and debris. High-wattage tubes get incredibly hot, and if your airflow is blocked, the lamp is going to overheat and die young.
